Accessibility
Effective date: 2026-09-08
captrizzo wants slopgate to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion settings.
What this site aims for
slopgate aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at level AA. Current status: partially tested. The pages have been checked by hand for keyboard navigation, visible focus, heading order, colour contrast, and reduced-motion behaviour. No automated audit has been run yet.
What has been done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
- Text and background colours meet the contrast ratio for level AA.
- The one animation on the home page is disabled when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content.
No overlay is used
slopgate does not use an accessibility overlay, widget, or toolbar. Accessibility is built into the pages.
